Gardener and Housekeeper are offered a 2 bedroom cottage on the estate, Monday to Friday with hours of 8.30am to 5.30pm and a salary from £70k negotiable. Well, it will have to be won’t it! Ok, not the usual massive amount but the hours are great and so are the principals! With two other gardeners you will look after the grounds and, as it is a shooting estate, help in the season. The housekeeping duties are usual for someone from a formal high-end home. Loads of help when entertaining of course. Pop up to London to help in that house too on occasions. This role would suit a candidate with a strong security background and some managerial experience. The main duties will be to cover for the much loved Gurkha chauffeur on his days off, driving the family to London and local appointments and being responsible for Estate security and the training of other staff members accordingly.

Working Days/Hours: 5 days a week with two days off mid-week.

Accommodation: Lovely private 2-bedroom cottage on the estate. Wife/Partner welcome.

These two roles are for the multiple properties owned by this prominent family. The house manager must have worked in a 5 star hotel, must be female to abide by correct protocol and will manage staff including nannies, butlers and waiting staff.

The estate Manager will handle budgets, supervise maintenance, deal with leases and tenants and be a leader to run many staff. A degree or certificate in property management, facilities management is preferred. Also 5 star hotel experience valued.

Both roles will have a separate apartment. I believe that you could, if you have all the right experience, ask for a little more re the salary, (living in hope!) but you must have all the requirements before we can ask.

Obviously, there is more to say, but firstly only those who have the experience noted above, who will work a 6 day week with 30 days holiday and one return trip home and who are female, need apply. See below.

This couple, the father is in the world of media, with small children and there is a full time nanny, need a good driver, a confident cook, nothing fancy just a simple breakfast, light lunch and snacks and to be a super cleaner.

The Houseman will serve teas and coffees to guests, manage contractors and drive a luxury vehicle. The Housekeeper should be a good laundress for fine items plus care for the cat and dog. They get on! This role is for a couple who are happy with a young family and want to relate but give them privacy serving quietly and confidently. Note: You must already be in the UK.
